Return / Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our policy is designed to be clear, generous, and easy to follow.
1. General Policy & Timeframe
- Return/Exchange Window: We offer a generous 365-day window for returns and exchanges, beginning from your delivery date.
- Item Condition: All returned items must be in the original condition you received them: unworn, unwashed, unused, and with all original tags attached. Items returned in used, damaged, or altered condition will not be eligible for resolution.
- Proof of Purchase: Your original order number is required to process any return or exchange.
- No Final Sale Items
2. Returns (For Product Defects Only)
Returns for a refund are accepted only for items that have a demonstrable product defect or manufacturing damage.
- Eligibility: Refunds are only issued for manufacturer defects (e.g., misprint, tear, faulty stitching).
- Proof of Damage Required: To approve a return, the purchaser must provide clear photographic evidence of the defect or damage.
- Exclusion: We do not accept returns or issue refunds for damage incurred during the shipping process.
- Shipping Cost: If a return is approved for a defect, Kindred Tribes will cover all return shipping costs. Kindred Tribes will email you a return shipping label.
- Refund Method: Approved refunds will be issued to the payment method used at time of purchase or as store credit.
3. Exchanges (Size, Color, or Design Swap)
We are happy to facilitate exchanges if you need a different size, color, or even a different design.
- Eligibility: Exchanges are offered for a different size or a completely different design.
- Shipping Cost: Purchaser will cover all return shipping costs to get the original item back to us.
- Store Credit Process: Once the original product is received and passes our item condition check (Section 1), the purchaser will receive an email containing a Store Credit for the value of the returned item.
- Pricing Difference: If the new item selected costs more than the original item, the purchaser must pay the pricing difference when using their store credit.
4. Submit a Return Request
- Click here. This will take you to Customer Accounts.
- Follow the instructions below.
Log in to your account:
In the "Email" field, enter your email address, and then click "Continue".
In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
Click "Request return" for the order that you want to submit the return for.
If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
Click "Request return”.
If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you receive store credit.
